Photo Album: Musty Crawl Space Gets a Makover
This customer in Fayetteville, AR was experiencing issues with cold floors and musty odors right after moving in. After a thorough invenstigation what the VESTA foundation Solutions team found was the open vents were creating high relative humidity. This high relative humidity was creating issues with the insulation; making it heavy and began to fall to the dirt floor. Even though they had a vapor barrier the water from several downspouts caused the water to pool on top of the plastic. The Vesta Foundation Solutions of Arkansas team installed drainage and a CleanSpace vapor barrier system to permenantly prevent these problems from happening to this Customer's forever home.
